I just wondered if anyone had also had this problem.
I am feeling slightly mad and a little silly 2 months ago we purchased a new cooker, gas hob and electric oven.
We had to buy quickly as we were moving and needed something to cook on. We got a make called Amica, the coooker looks great
the oven cooks great, although I am still getting used to the oven temp.
The problem is the hob, once the contents of the pan are simmering you can not get the flame low enough to keep a constant simmer.
I have to keep the pan half off the ring. I have never had this problem before even with a commercial cooker!!
My husband thinks i am going mad so I contacted the makers who had never heard of this problem. They were very helpful and
are sendingout an engineer tomorow. I do however feel a little silly at how I am going to explain the problem to someone who is probably going to think
"its her age"

Hi Melanie

I've never come across this problem either, I must say, but at least they're taking it seriously and sending someone out. Hope it gets sorted!
